Happy Worn Out Student

Well I passed the ACE exam today with a 532/ 800. 500 is the minimum score. I am a busy student. I have a job and go to school with a lot of hours. I also have started writing music..My schedule is packed. I read the book lightly and played the provided videos (from the books) for a month..
I'd play the videos all the time, even when I was doing dishes or other things. It helped a lot. Finally I had time to sit down and actually read the book. I had one week. I read chapters I defined as crucial because of the way the test is designed (basically the advanced chapters on ALL kinds of assesments/tests/screens, fitness stages, musculoskeletal and movement issues and special pops). I filled out the black book in a few days by reading the answers from chapters I just didn't have time to read... And putting together that information with what I had read.
I think it's pretty easy to over think the test. At the same time the test can be tricky and almost subjective. You have to know ACE terms and what ACE wants. Read the book, fill out the black book, watch the videos, know how to apply all formulas and fitness assessments... Name Joints, muscles etc , know their functions, deviations, Etc!!! Know how to be nice to people.. For example- a question on mine: a client keeps stepping away from you when you approach them- answer - client needs more personal space...
You'll be fine. It really is a good test... For its purpose.
If I had more time it would have been a tricky but passable test with a good score. I feel guilty, Im still reading the book, I just had a job offer (better than my current job!!!) and very little time! Personal Training is so awesome!!!
