Look at AFAA like any other college course...

I'm AFAA certified and I passed the first time I took the test with no problem. BUT I STUDIED FOR MONTHS!!! Look, you need to look at this like any other college course you would take. The workshop is to help you but I know few people who can cram a semester of a college course in 3 days and remember EVERYTHING!

This stuff isn't easy and it's not supposed to be. Again, take it in like any other class you would do and you will be fine.

Oh yeah, I took the on-line course and it worked great for me. A word of advice, though: get the book!
