Online certification

I would like to know about online personal trainer certification programs that are taken seriously in this field. I'm interested in doing something online but I'm having a hard time and could use some advice or links. Thank you

Where's the personal in online training?

I strongly believe that trainer certifications should take more then 1 weekend. So to try and do something online would mean there is no hands on experience, no one there for checking body fat or other practical practice to ensure proper technique, and having someone present to throw the randomness of a training session at you to know you can think on your feet and keep the client safe and give resluts. There is so much more to training than people know that to get something online is not going to be worth the paper is ultimately printed on. So I would say to save your time and money and look for a training company near by or find when there will be a company coming to your town and avoid the online idea.
