Slow Months, Economy, Natural Disasters

by Andres
(Miami, Fl)

The worst part of having a career in personal training is having unexpected slow times. One big client that pays you $600-800 a month suddenly goes out of town.

Gyms that are one day successful going under virtually in the middle of the night.

Natural Disasters... Hurricanes, Floods, earthquakes.

When Times get tough you are the first to go.

Depends on the client
by: Retrobeast

I have clients that have cut other expenses to keep training because they get addicted to it. If you are getting paid good money then save like you would with any other job. I see trainers who go out and buy some fancy expensive vehicle, shoes that cost $200, etc.
