Thinking about AFAA for group fitness instruction cert

I have done a lot of research and have decided to go through NASM for my PT Cert, but I also want a group fitness certification. Is is worth it to go through AFAA as well as NASM?

I took my AFAA group exercise certification workshop/exam in Feb. and, can't say enough about it! The text, the study guide and the workshop are all presented in comprehensive style (especially, if you're a visual learner). The workshop instructors are excellent, even after an entire day of instruction, they still had my full attention!

As I write this, I'm preparing for my AFAA PT certification workshop. After studying for (many) months for my NSCA PT exam, I still felt I needed more practical knowledge. So, I'm actually taking the AFAA workshop/exam as a pre-test for my NSCA exam(my decision was made after reading a post on this forum). I'm very confident that I'll will gain some great pratical knowledge from the workshop and easily pass the AFAA exam. My goal, is to sit for the NSCA exam (and pass it the first time) in the weeks following the workshop.

Like I said, you won't regret it!

I am considering an AFAA Group Fitness Certification but I have my concerns. Not about them but about me! This question is for anyone who has gone to one of their workshops. Do you have to know choreography? I could not do choreography if my life depended on it!! Can anyone tell me what to expect before I purchase anything?
