Training a friend for free

I am a certified personal trainer through NASM. I do not have liability insurance any more as the company I worked for decided to close down. THey had the insurance which covered me. I do have a friend/client who wants to continue training. Can I train her for free without being legally liable since I am not charging her and do not have insurance?
